I love how skinny I am in this picture, even if my arms do come out of my ears.
I am not a facebooker, diary-keeper, or blogger of any kind. While I do believe that everything is a story, I am just too lazy to write (or type) my own. This blog is the result of a class assignment, and I am looking forward to sharing some of my stories--being graded is a great motivator. I’m sure I could have chosen another topic—surely my life is rich and varied? But I will never run out of material as a wife and mother of three kids.

- After an extended leave of absence from both my job (I taught high school English)and education to raise a family, I'm thrilled to finally plan to earn my Master's in English this May, 2011. I substitute teach, and plan to look for "real" work next school year.
Amazing. Simply amazing. To clean up the current spill, would BP have to hire a bunch of ladies since the men can't seem to do it on their own?

ReplyDeleteThe other day on Fox News, I saw three different companies who had great ideas about containing and cleaning up the oil spill. I think a lot more could have been done early on and wasn't. I don't know why the Powers-That-Be haven't done a better job of this. Their incompetence is both epic and tragic.
I hope your husband's company gets the attention they deserve.
The code I had to type in was "preop." What do you suppose that means?
